The activation of real estate transaction notarization officially begins today, Sunday, 12/10/2025, through the electronic system, visual notarization, and in-person attendance, to streamline procedures and accelerate completion. In a step aimed at developing real estate notarization services and facilitating procedures for beneficiaries, the competent authorities announced the commencement of notarizing real estate transactions via the unified electronic system. This system enables beneficiaries to complete notarization processes remotely through visual notarization or by attending in person at the office of the private notary, in accordance with the highest standards of accuracy.

This transformation comes as part of the digital transformation efforts within the justice and real estate services ecosystem, contributing to enhanced operational efficiency, faster transaction completion, reduced paperwork, and the protection of rights while ensuring the highest levels of transparency.The Private Notary, Jaffer Al-Jamri, Chief Executive Officer of Bin Yousif Legal Group at Bahrain Financial Harbour, affirmed that the new system represents a qualitative leap in notarization mechanisms. It enables clients to carry out all their real estate procedures with ease, at any time and from anywhere, through an integrated electronic platform that ensures swift approval and precise outcomes.

He further explained that the launch of this service complements the ongoing development witnessed by the justice and notarization system, with the aim of enhancing confidence in real estate transactions and improving the beneficiary experience in line with digital transformation objectives and Kingdom Vision 2030. He noted that all clients can register through the notifications link and conduct their real estate transactions either via the in-person electronic system at the notarization office located at Bahrain Financial Harbour, next to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (2nd floor), or through the visual notarization system using the client’s personal mobile phone. He added that real estate transactions can now be completed in as little as 7 minutes, provided the system operates continuously without interruption—an achievement that contributes to the rapid success of digitalization and ensures a high level of customer satisfaction.
